When you eat a spinach calzone at midnight, your 8am run the next morning will be a slow one!!
But at least I didn’t stop, and I made it 3 miles! Getting back into it =)

21 years old, New York City
Vegetarian since July 4th, 2009
Pseudo-vegan since January 1st, 2011
100% VEGAN since December 1st, 2011
Why?
- My health
- Love of animals
- To Protect the environment
- I like it!
Using this blog to keep myself in check with cheating, especially with chocolate or small snacks that contain milk ingredients that I eat anyway sometimes!! =(
Also going to keep tabs on my exercise on a daily basis, general feelings of health, and on a less consistent basis, my size/weight.
I've focused on weight loss before and I tend to yo-yo and I realized it's finally time to take that energy and channel it into something I can more readily control, such as the choice to keep toxic animal byproducts, hormones, and artificial ingredients OUT of my body!
P.S. If you are a vegan/vegetarian/health related blog and you follow me, I will follow you back from my main tumblr, presentlaughter =)

Back from a nice 20 minute jog in the park before shower and church!

There you go

Thanks to Shelby for this link. I have already been thinking that I have been eating too much soy, I mentioned it on this blog a couple of months ago, and actually I’m not sure I’ve eaten tofu since then. Might not again…
Br: Oatmeal with mixed berries and a few chunks of pineapple
Lun: Steamed black eyed peas and a handful of cranberry trail mix
Sn: Soy Chai Latte, an apple, and a luna bar
Din: Amy’s Low-Fat Minestrone Soup, and a banana
According to loseit.com my carbs-fat-protein ration was 73:15:12. Not bad!
I also did Kenpo X today and a really fun abs workout I found on Skimble =)
